FAQ

Q. What is the length of contract that we have to keep a nurse?
A.
Typically the length of our contracts are 13 weeks, however, they are customizable to 4, 8 and 52 if needed.

Q. What is your hiring criteria?
A.
We follow the guidelines of the Joint Commission and the nurse goes through rigorous screening including completing an application with work history, specialty specific skills checklist, two references must be completed and they must have a minimum of one year recent clinical experience.. Next, our Clinical Supervisor conducts an interview ensuring that the nurse is the right fit for our company and your facility. The majority of our nurses have 3 years experience for specialties such as NICU, PICU, Peds, ER and ICU.

Q. What is the turnaround time from the time I place an order to the time the nurse is working at our facility?
A.
We can have the professional there within a few days depending on the type of request, but typically it is best to plan for enough time to review their file and have an opportunity to interview and then decide if the nurse will be a fit for you.

A.
We are available 24/7, 365 days a year. Our staffing associates are fully trained to help answer any questions or issues that may arise. We also have a Clinical Supervisor on staff to help you if needed.

Q. Can I extend a nurse's contract if needed?
A.
Yes, just give us a call and we will work directly with the nurse to customize an extension to your needs. If our nurse expresses interest in working with your facility on a permanent basis after a minimum of a 13 week contract Prestige is happy to release the nurse to you with no fee.
